The spark
Congressman Ron Paul lit a fire in my heart for honest money. He held that gold and silver were honest money, so I started the American Open Currency Standard.

Before Congress
With Eddie Allen and my brother David, we minted our own coins for a voluntary barter economy. Slow — but it worked. I was invited to share it at Dr Paul's final Domestic Monetary Policy hearing.

Money is the most honest thing two free people can exchange — a receipt for work performed, value created, time spent. When the unit of account is debased, every honest transaction is debased with it.
That is not a policy failure. It is a slow, silent transfer of wealth. This is the work — and the wager — of the Honest Money Ecosystem.
