Design the Atlanta Community Currency

The Atlanta Barter Group is launching a new contest with the help of the Atlanta Arts Council to find the best concept for the design of the new Atlanta Community Currency. Entrants will be judged on their use of significant Atlanta symbols and icons as well as their overall communication of the spirit of Atlanta. Winners will be announced for best obverse (front) and reverse (back) designs.
Visit our “Design Contest” page for guidelines and an easy to use template you can print out and use to sketch your ideas. Once you’ve completed the final draft and are satisfied, simply scan the image and email it to the address provided and a select panel of judges will score the entries. This will not be the only deciding factor as all entries will be displayed (without identifying the artist) on this web site for visitors to log their votes for the top three submissions.
