Crow Nation Sovereign Currency Launch
A few weeks ago we reported the Crow Nation’s introduction of their Battle of Little Big Horn commemorative silver medallion. What we didn’t report is that creating the coin was the first step for the federally-recognized Crow Nation to launch their very own tribal sovereign currency. Take a quick look at the video below to see where they’re heading with the project.

Silver & Copper Currency launching at 95th Crow Fair
On Monday, August 5th the Crow tribe invited all merchants, vendors and business owners on the reservation to participate in a Q&A forum, with the goal of helping address concerns regarding the migration to the new currency. According to the public notice, the new currency is to affect everyone conducting business on the Crow Reservation. The currency is scheduled to officially launch this week at the 95th annual Crow Fair, introducing their new tenth ounce silver and half ounce copper coins during the largest gathering of Teepees in the world. Join us and make history this week in Montana as the Crow, a federally-recognized nation, executes the most basic and important act of sovereignty and self-determination: the issuance, circulation and acceptance of a hard asset currency.

Silver barter is better with
tenth ounce silver paraDIMES
shipping now (as low as spot + $0.30 per piece!)
After more than a year of development, testing & frustration, paraDIMES are ready for prime time! For a long time, customers asked for small units of easily-trade-able silver. Hundred ounce bars are great for big-time stacking but bad for barter. One ounce coins are better for barter but cost more, and are usually still too big for small trades. Now, thanks to the amazing technology and automation of the Mulligan Mint, vast quantities of tenth ounce silver, named by us as paraDIMES, are available for prices competitive with one ounce rounds! paraDIMES: changing the way people think about silver. Each paper-wrapped roll of Silver paraDIMES contains fifty freshly-minted, uncirculated tenth ounce .999 silver coins, each measuring 20mm in diameter and featuring a “smooth” non-reeded edge. Get a roll today for as little as $3.00 per ounce over spot!

Exciting updates from Lakota!
In the next few weeks, the Lakota Dollar Store will open its doors on the Pine Ridge Reservation, serving as the rallying point for the Lakota sovereign currency. At the new Dollar Store, patrons can shop for high-quality shelf-stable food and dry goods and cash a check, send money or convert dollars at the onsite Lakota Currency Exchange, a duly-authorized financial services business in the heart of Pine Ridge. After more than five years of development, the time, money and energy invested in the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and the projects in that country are maturing. Stay tuned for a few important updates and more detail on the developments from the Free Lakota Bank.
