Internship Program
Welcome to the AOCS internship program. Really, it’s more of a voluntary association of like-minded liberty-lovers for a defined period of time where you have a blast hanging out with the coolest executives in the country while they build a free market business that is transforming the way people view money.
Who is AOCS
The American Open Currency Standard was started by Rob Gray in 2008 after Congressman Ron Paul’s run for president woke him up to the tyranny of the state and destruction of our currency by the Fed. Located in Dallas Texas, the AOCS is a multifaceted, unincorporated association of free-thinking business people who do everything from minting silver bullion to setting up sovereign currencies for Native American nations. Right now we are in the biggest expansion in our history. Having increased our employment by nearly ten-fold in the last six months, our revenues and influence have never been greater!
Why an Internship Program
You will hear us brag of our successes, you’ve probably seen our medallions out there, but the most impressive thing we have is the absolute best people. Building this team has taken years. Every member of our executive team has been recruited from the liberty movement. Now, as we search for more, we think it’s time to look toward the younger, up-and-coming members of the liberty movement to join our team. We won’t try and fool you, the skills you will develop and the things you learn here are simply the result of the internship, not the purpose. Ayn Rand speaks of self interest as the highest virtue. It is our self interest that drives us to “mine” the liberty movement for raw talent. If you learn some stuff and have an absolute blast along the way, we’re okay with that too.
What Will You Learn
The importance of free banking, ignoring the Fed, alternative currencies, commodity banking, the inner workings of a precious metals mint, online retail, marketing, sales, and web technologies. You’ll learn about events in the liberty movement and the financial industry that affect currency and the financial integrity of our nation’s investments. As mentioned before, the way we built our team was through the liberty movement. We did this by attending relevant events all over the country. We will bring you along to most of them, including Freedom Fest in July 2013, where you will meet/rub shoulders with some of the top business people in the movement while having an absolute blast!

Send us an email with an overview of who you are, your background and education, a list of activities that forwarded the cause of freedom, and any special skills that we may be able to put to use.
If we select you, we’ll bring you at our expense to Dallas, cover your room & board expenses, and provide a budget so you’re not broke the whole time you’re here. Expect a term of three to six months before we send you on your way or bring you on full-time.
